Just Another Day

June 12th, 2009

A beautiful day here in London.

Life for myself and the other half is going well. We’re both still looking into several options for the fall. Nothing definite at all, but the latest blip on the radar is Ottawa, which has actually had a boatload of teaching positions come available. So, we are trucking along, seeing what direction fate points us in.

Holly started her volunteer gig at the police college library this morning. Day one seemed to go well, but I’ll let her expand on that at some point. I wouldn’t want to pass along any misinformation or get a fact wrong. I know she said there was a lot of crazy stuff going on in and around the place. Shooting ranges, driving training, marching, etc. Hmm, maybe they’ll let her join in for a round or two if she asked!

As for the short term, there isn’t much flowing through my head that isn’t somehow tainted by Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final this evening. My Pens, my glorious Pens, have a chance to win. It’ll be a long afternoon, and a great game hopefully, and I’ll just have to sit tight and see how things develop this evening. Don’t worry though, I assure you there is no stress involved whatsover. Right?

No, no stress whatsoever. It’s a cool, calm, and collected apartment after the 2nd period. :-P

Ottawa, eh? If you guys move there we might have to…is everyone moving to Ottawa or what? Congrats on your team’s glorious victory, Greg.
