I’m feeling in need of a nap. Went to Stratford last night with mum & dad for the annual dinner/play evening hosted by dad’s customer Gary in memory of Cam. When dad asked if I’d like to go I felt a bit hesitant – how many more years can I tag along to dad’s business events, really? It was fine, though, glad I went. We had a good time. Delicious food and drink (mmm, grand marnier, my old friend), and a very entertaining play – “Oliver!” was fantastic. Last year’s “Hello, Dolly” had us all asleep before the intermission.  We went to bed at 12:30, mum and I in the king sized bed – that’s what Hunter and I need, maybe then I wouldn’t have to cling to the edge every night.  We were up at the truly ungodly hour of 5. (M&D were stirring at 4:30!) The ride back was quick, though, and I slept for another hour or so when we arrived home – but I could still use a nap.
I work at 4:00. Good old Joey’s. (3 months, 3 months, 3 months….. my new mantra.) (But hey – old friends, short hours, good money – can’t really complain.)
Not much else to report. No interesting science facts, sorry. The Great Attractor, honestly… ;-) How about a little bit of Homer’s wisdom?: “There is a time for many words, and there is also a time for sleep.” Who am I to disagree? Off to nap, then!
