It is yet another lovely day here in Palmerston North.
I had the last day of my first six-day block in my base/home school today. For the rest of the week, I’m back at teacher’s college sitting around trying to listen. My school is fantastic, and I’m loving every minute of it. I’m hoping to take my camera next time around to take some pictures. I’m in a year 3/4 class, with twenty-eight kids. Myself, and all the teachers at the school, are on a first name basis with the children. Quite progressive, and everyone is a big fan of it. Already anxious to get back. Comparatively, I learn a lot more in the classroom than not, but that really isn’t surprising I suppose. I won’t rabble on for too long however, hopefully I’ll give out a slew of details in the near future.
Otherwise, life here in Palmy is quite good. As of today we have an internet connection at the homestead now, which will make both schooling and general communication all the easier (or so one would assume). On that note, hopefully as a result both myself and Holly will make a point of posting more… posts, as well as pictures.
Alas, I should stop for now. Hunger is growing and I should probably do something about that. Hello to all, hope all is well. Toodle-loo.
