New Zealand Time – March 3, 2:57 pm
Hello to all. It seems as though we have entered yet another month, as time continues to fly by down here.
It’s currently 22 degrees Celsius, so no complaints in the weather department.
Myself, I’m back at my school-placement. Spent Thursday and Friday there, and I will be there all next week as well. The week after, I’ll be off. We have the option of being at our placements either this coming week or the week after, with the week-off being a ‘study week’ in which to get on top of work, etc. While I do have some to do and some to get ahead in, it’ll be nice to have at least a few days to meander around.
School is going well. Though, it took most of Thursday to adapt to being around kids all day. Nonetheless, it is most exciting, and everyone at my school is great. I think I may take the reins of the school basketball team and coach, as they’re always looking for help with all the sports. It doesn’t start for quite some time, so we’ll see. Time is obviously the key issue, but if I can sort that out, I think it’d be great.
Holly is due back tomorrow, after her whirlwind adventure through the North Island. I’m sure she has tons of pictures, as well as lots to say. Just from the tidbits I’ve heard here and there, I can say I’ve been most jealous. Hell, she’s swam in two oceans already.
Back at home here in Palmy, I’m keeping busy. Went out for drinks with some people from school last eve, and heading to the Hurricanes / Stormers rugby game this evening. The Hurricanes are based out of Wellington, which by default makes them Palmy’s team, as we’re in the same region. Hence, they’re coming here to play a game. It ought to be a riot I’m sure.
Well, I suppose that is all for now. I realize pictures have been lacking as of late, but I’m sure once the other half has returned from her trip, there will be a great influx.
Take care all.
